Now used by a cool 16 million South Africans, which is up from 14 million in 2016, Facebook, undoubtedly, is the hero. Arthur Goldstuck, one of the country’s leading authorities on social media, had this to say:
“There is a misconception that younger people are leaving Facebook; however, a demographic breakdown of the local user data shows that it’s just a case of the younger Facebook users getting older – simply put, they aren’t teenagers anymore.”
